- Design, develop, and execute data migration solutions to move positions trade data across multiple systems.
- Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data workflows using Python and SQL.
- Work with AWS-based environments for data processing and storage.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders within the financial services domain.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting during migration activities.
- Work in Linux and Windows environments, following best engineering practices using Git and Docker.
- At least 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Strong experience with ETL processes.
- Solid knowledge of Python, SQL, and AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and Linux.
- Fluency in English (German is a plus).
- Good understanding of financial services terminology and practices, ideally in Fixed Income, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Banking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
- The candidate must live in Portugal.
