Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain cloud infrastructures across Azure and AWS.

- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Configure and manage cloud networking and security, including VNet/VPC, VPN, firewalls, NSGs, IAM, and RBAC.

- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot incidents across cloud environments using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and CloudWatch.

- Implement backup, disaster recovery (DR), and high-availability solutions.

- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and cloud governance best practices.

- Document processes, architectures, and operational procedures.

Essential skills

- Hands-on experience in Cloud Administration.

- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, storage, compute, and monitoring.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.

- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments, including networking, applications, and performance-related issues.

- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD, using tools such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent.

- Experience with cloud cost management, including right-sizing, autoscaling, and reserved instances.

- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in hybrid multi-cloud environments (on-premises and cloud).

Desired skills

- Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes, particularly AKS and EKS, will be considered a plus.

- Experience working in critical environments, with a strong focus on high availability and resilience.
